E. Coli & Bacteriophage

M13 bacteriophage is a bacterial virus that improves the gut microbiome. We are interested in how bacteriophage and E. coli interact with each other in sub-optimal environments.

Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Liver cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. We incorporate a novel treatment for liver cancer into a dynamical systems model.

Oropouche Virus

Oropouche virus is a neglected tropic disease similar to Zika and Dengue fever. We use ordinary differential equations present one of the first mathematical models for this virus.

Floating Offshore Wind Farms

Floating offshore wind turbines offer a unique alternative energy source. Yet this technology is new and the effects unknown. We explore how multiple turbines may affect each other.

Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH)

CTEPH is a disease in the pulmonary arteries characterized by persistent lesions. Using CT scans of the chest, we simulate run fluid dynamics and treatment options.

Small-World Networks

Small world networks are delightfully fast and reliable. We investigate how to create a small world graph and explore what it means to be "small-world."
